Access Control for Port Security

Description:

This course supplies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a strong layer of security at seaports by restricting access into port facilities.

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Comply with Federal, State, and local regulations that impact our Nation's seaports
  • Identify two major components of comprehensive access control: Identification/Credentialing and Restricted Area Access Controls

Audience:

Seaport security/operational management, staff, and employees

 

Duration:

Eight (8) hours
