General Aviation

Description:

This course provides an overview of general aviation, including general aviation licenses, registration and certifications, general aviation government agencies, flight schools, general aviation safety, and general aviation risks and vulnerabilities.

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Define general aviation airports
  • Identify suspicious activities and vulnerabilities within a general aviation airport
  • Identify what resources are available to aid in investigation and security

Audience:

Law enforcement and security personnel charged with patrolling a general aviation airport or site

 

Duration:

Eight (8) hours
