Traffic Stops

Description:

This course covers how to conduct traffic stops and how to detect signs of terrorist activity during a traffic stop. Students will learn how to identify suspicious indicators, interview drivers and passengers, adhere carefully to the law, and protect their safety during a traffic stop.

 

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Identify proper procedures for recognizing indicators of suspicious vehicles
  • Conduct an interview with drivers of identified suspicious vehicles
  • Conduct a vehicle search according to U.S. legal parameters of vehicle search and seizure

Audience:

Law enforcement personnel and security personnel

 

Duration:

Eight (8) hours
