Law Enforcement Guide to Understanding Islamic Terrorism and Arabic Names

Provides law enforcement personnel and first responders with awareness level information on Islamic fundamentalist terrorism and Arabic names and culture in order to dispel misconceptions and assist with interactions between first responders and Muslims and Arabs.

Covers the definition, need for, and basic assumptions of Force Protection for military personnel and their families, military contractors, and other government civilian employees.

Provides general knowledge and raises the level of understanding of Anti-Terrorism among civilian and military personnel in temporary or auxiliary roles.

Explores general aviation airports, how to identify suspicious activities and vulnerabilities within these airports, and what resources are available to aid in investigation and security.

Offers training in the fundamentals of the all-hazard emergency operations planning process, including the rationale behind such planning.

Provides practical knowledge and understanding of school terrorism and safety threats, focusing on planning and preparedness and offering guidance on local, State, and Federal resources available to assist in planning and preparedness.

Traffic Stops

Covers how to conduct traffic stops, identify suspicious indicators, interview drivers and passengers, adhere carefully to the law, stay safe, and detect signs of terrorist activity during a traffic stop.
